TWU Softball Legacy Field Fund
Become "A Part of Something Bigger"
TWU Athletics has created the Legacy Field Fund in honor of the historic gift that Coach Baker made to the University. The Legacy Field Fund will be used for immediate and future renovations of Pioneer Field to help fulfill the vision of Coach Baker.
"This field is unique. We want to keep it natural and make it a place where people can bring their families, have a picnic and watch a game." - Coach Baker
Updates to the facility will begin immediately with renovations to the press box and seating areas. Coach Baker hopes that these upgrades, along with additional improvements, will act as a way to honor the others in her life that made her career possible - teammates, former players, coaches, competitors and fans.
"The reason for my gift to the University is to honor the University that saved me, the colleagues who walked before me and the athletes that played for me, and the assistant coaches who worked beside me. I want this gift to be a part of something bigger than myself. This gift is for them." - Coach Baker
