Texas Woman's University has established a tradition of success both in the gym and in the classroom, and we continue to need YOUR help. During the 2018-19 academic year, 15 Pioneers were named Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-Americans, and as a team, placed fourth in the nation out of 76 programs in NCAA Division I, II and III with an amazing 3.6967 grade point average! In addition, more than 75% of team members were recognized on the TWU Dean's and Chancellor's lists.
During the 2109 season, the team secured a third place finish at the Midwest Independent Conference (MIC) Championship, and Erin Alderman competed in the NCAA Regionals on balance beam. Also, at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships, Alderman (Beam - 1st Team and Floor - 1st Team), Bria Northrop (Vault - 1st Team) and Hope Parkin (Vault - 2nd Team) were named USAG All-Americans. Alderman capped off her exemplary career by being named the 2019 MIC Woman of the Year, Lone Star Conference Scholar-Athlete, Pioneer Athlete of the Year and back-to-back winner of the TWU Chancellor's Award, the highest honor given to a current student-athlete.
We are pumped for 2020! The team is loaded with talent and a deep passion for this program, our University and our community. We are excited to embark on this journey and we invite you to join us. We promise to work hard, make our meets fun and action-packed and continue achieving excellence!

Gym Kid donors will receive an invitation to an open practice and private pizza party with TWU Gymnasts and coaches on Jan 4th. Gym Kid donors will also have the opportunity to join the TWU Gymnastics team during march-in on Sun., Feb 9th. In addition, Gym Kid donors will also receive an autographed team photo and a Gym Kid t-shirt. **Open to girls and boys in the 8th grade and below only**
