This year, the honors program at TWU marks its 22nd year—a time to honor our past, celebrate our bright future and reflect on the impact TWU honors students have made on our campuses, our local community, and the world. We have enjoyed being part of our alumni’s development as young scholars and watching them grow into amazing professionals in their fields. Honors at TWU embraces the belief that learning takes place in a variety of venues, through traditional and non-traditional pedagogies, and frequently involves collaboration and integration between the disciplines. We learn in the classroom, in the real world, and from each other.
Honors students deepen their learning through completing undergraduate research or creative projects. To support their research initiatives and develop their projects, our students need research supplies and the opportunity to present their work to external audiences. Giving to the TWU Honors Endowment ensures students are well supported in developing and completing meaningful research in their chosen fields of study. Your gift will impact the success of Honors students as they continue to grow and become graduates from TWU entering the workforce and/or graduate school.
All gifts will go into the Honors Program Endowment which provides a stream of income to support research grants, creative endeavors, and research presentations and publication for honors students along with other needs consistent with the mission and goals of the Office of Honors Programs at TWU.
